Job Summary:
The Product Configuration Specialist ensures system reliability through thorough testing, troubleshooting, and collaborating with the development team on configuration-related projects.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Maintain and update product information and configuration in the eCommerce system, ensuring accuracy in product descriptions, images, pricing, and availability.
- Provide internal support to team members using the eCommerce system, troubleshooting issues and resolving application-related problems.
- Create and maintain detailed configuration documentation, user guides, and training materials.
- Assist in system testing for new feature implementations, patches, and system upgrades.
- Coordinate product updates with the marketing and product teams to ensure correct product listings.
- Collaborate with the development and IT teams to identify, report, and fix system bugs or discrepancies.
- Monitor product performance within the application to ensure that all data aligns with sales goals and customer experience standards.
Required Skills/Abilities:
- Experience with relevant eCommerce systems or product management software.
- Strong understanding of configuration management principles.
- Ability to analyze complex issues and find effective solutions, ensuring accurate and consistent configuration.
- Strong troubleshooting and debugging skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to explain complex technical information clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment while following detailed instructions and procedures.
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel.
- Knowledge of attribute-based and product-based configurations.
- Understanding of conditional logic.
Education and Experience:
- Highschool diploma or equivalent required.
- 1-3 years of experience.
Physical Requirements:
- Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
- Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $20.00 - $26.00 per hour
Expected hours: No less than 40 per week
