REMOTE
We are looking for a reliable editor to help manage our thought leadership efforts across CDK Global's owned channels and with third parties. The content marketing team is expanding the brand's reach beyond current audiences while enhancing the insights we provide to our customers and the broader industry. This role will help execute on that plan and will play a pivotal role in our growth.
The content editor should be familiar with the automotive industry's latest trends and topics to help inform outputs.
Responsibilities
- Manage editorial calendars and task-tracking tool
- Oversee relationships with content agencies
- Collaborate with social media teams to align calendars and content
- Ideate topics and write original content for owned channels
- Work with our creative team to ensure look and feel of content meets brand standards
- Publish content through our CMS
Qualifications & Job Requirements
- 5 years working in an independent or internal newsroom in an editing capacity
- Strong writing and editing skills
- Familiar with various CMS tools
- Understands the importance of SEO for content
- Familiarity with the automotive and automotive retail industries
- College degree in related field; journalism, English, communications etc.
- Extensive portfolio of original published work
Salary Range:
$80,000.00-$100, 000.00
