  • In-office Monday-Friday for 8-hour shifts
Responsibilities:
  • Conduct data entry, payment recording, and maintaining financial records. 
  • Document financial transactions by entering accurate account information.
  • Audit bills of lading (BOLs) and freight invoices for Vendor and/or Driver payments.
  • Research, analyze, and identify issues and/or errors on freight invoices and BOLs.
  • Collaborate with internal and external parties as needed to resolve any billing discrepancies.
  • Audit invoices prior to being submitted for payment on a daily basis.
  • Providing basic filing for financial records and invoices to ensure confidentiality and easy year-end access.
  • Managing company faxes and accounting emails.
  • Assisting in preparing financial reports and income statements, as requested. 
  • Make telephone calls related to day-to-day business.
  • Assist in monthly and year-end closings.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
 Qualifications:
  • Previous experience in accounting, finance, or other related fields
  • 1-2 years of AP/AR experience
  • Proficient in creating spreadsheets and reports specifically with Excel and Word
  • Knowledge and/or experience with EDI preferred
  • Experience with McLeod preferred
  • Experience in carrier and/or customer contract auditing preferred
  • Ability to prioritize and organize
  • Effective communication skills

Interview Process:
-Initial screening with the HR/Recruitment Directors — 30 minute
-Video Call with the Director of the department — 30 minute
-Video Call with your direct hiring Manager — up to 45 minute
-In-office meeting with direct Manager — will also be meeting the team you’ll be working with to ensure it is a culture fit
