What are the responsibilities and job description for the CDL-A Local Driver position at CDL Drivers Choice?

CDL A DRIVER- 1ST SHIFT- MUST HAVE HAZMAT & TANKER.
  • 1ST SHIFT  0600-1800.
  • HOME DAILY-2ND SHIFT OPENING NOW (2-10 pm).
  • MONDAY THRU FRIDAY (SOME SATURDAYS).
  • $25 PER HOUR PLUS OVERTIME PAID AFTER 40.

Requirements:
  • MUST HAVE MANUAL TRANSMISSION EXPERIENCE BECAUSE ALL TRUCKS ARE MANUAL.
  • MUST HAVE AT LEAST 90 DAYS OF RECENT OTR TRACTOR-TRAILER DRIVING EXPERIENCE.
  • MUST HAVE BOTH HAZMAT AND TANKER.

Responsibilities:
  • Your role will consist of both shuttling and spotting loaded and empty trailers between our Aurora and Joliet facilities.
  • Complete orientation and pass drug tests.
