Pain Management Physician
Location: Wasilla, Alaska
Pay: $468,000-$750,000 annual compensation, could be potentially more with partnership and ASC ownership

Algone Interventional Pain Clinic, the largest Interventional pain clinic in Alaska, is currently seeking a full-time, highly motivated, Fellowship trained Pain Management Physician to join our team as a junior partner. This position also has the opportunity to have ownership in a profitable ASC.
Algone specializes in the treatment of acute and chronic pain and utilizes a wide range of minimally invasive surgical and non-surgical techniques to reduce the impact of chronic pain in our patients' lives.

Qualified Pain Management Physicians should be proficient in the following in order to perform the daily job responsibilities of a Pain Management Physician.
•Promotes and maintains health by providing medical services under the supervision of Algone'sMedical Director
•Assesses patient health by interviewing patients; performing physical examinations; obtaining, updating, and studying medical history and records
•Determines abnormal conditions by administering or ordering diagnostic tests, such as X-Ray, MRI, and laboratory studies, interpreting test results
•Documents patient care services by charting in patient and department records
•Performs standard diagnostic and therapeutic procedures by administering injections appropriate to the needs of the patient.
•Ordering and reviewing and interpreting urine drug screen, presumptive and subsequent confirmatory test results
•Instructs and counsels patient and family by outlining therapeutic regimens, promoting wellness and health maintenance, addressing aberrant behavior
•Provides continuity of care by communicating with midlevel who assists in carrying out patient treatment plans
•Collaborate with other specialists in managing acute and long-term medical needs of the patient
•Maintains a safe and clean working environment by complying with company policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements
• Complies with federal, state, local, legal, and professional requirements by studying existing and new legislation; anticipating future legislation; enforcing adherence to requirements
• Maintains professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops; reviewing professional publications; establishing personal networks; participating in professional societies
• Contributes to the team by filling in or seeing additional patients, as needed
• Cultivate a climate of trust and compassion and customer service for the patients
Required Education and Licensure for a Pain Management Physician
• Doctorate
• Completion of a one-year fellowship in Interventional Pain Medicine
• Board Certified or Board Eligible
• Must possess or be willing to acquire an Alaska Medical License
• Active DEA License
