Installs (placement, connection, inspection, test), repairs and maintains energy monitoring, telephone, control systems, network hardware and cash registers according to manufacturer's and Carowinds standards.
Installs (placement, position, connection, inspection, tests), repairs and maintains various electronics components for sound systems, amps, and speakers according to manufacturer's and Carowinds standards.
Performs preventative maintenance (planned interval inspections) on energy monitoring and control systems and other related installations as needed.
The ability to use and manipulate up to an 8 foot ladder for the purpose of installing/maintaining electronic systems.
Documents file records of preventative maintenance and check-outs.
Answers trouble calls during operation.
Keeps work areas clean and organized.
Troubleshoots, diagnoses and repairs malfunctions using schematics and test equipment.
Keeps abreast of current trends and practices in field of expertise.
Makes recommendations on upgrades based on new developments/trends.
Responds to and takes appropriate action to resolve concerns and complaints from park guests and associates.
Maintains clear, concise and specific lines of communications.
Maneuverability and mobility to work in the park.
Ability to work with other people.

Provides guest service according to Cedar Fair standards when serving the guest or working with subordinates, including initiating guest interactions, answering questions and giving directions.
Maintains cleanliness and safety in assigned work area and performs all duties in compliance with Cedar Fair Safety guidelines and requirements and reports all unsafe or unusual conditions to supervision.
Meets scheduling availability requirements, including nights, weekends, and holiday periods to meet business needs.
Meets Cedar Fair's attendance requirements as outlined in Cedar Fair's attendance policies.
Adheres to Cedar Fair's Rules of Conduct including specific costuming and grooming standards as outlined in Employee Guidelines and other park/division specific policies and procedures.
