SUMMARY: The Sales District Manager is responsible for developing new business and maintaining current customers in specified sales territories. Complete weekly sales reports in Salesforce and meet monthly sales goals. Provide excellent Customer service, assist customers in Cedar Grove soil product options (be single point of contact for customers), visit client location to ensure quality service and introduce new/changing product offerings, and participate in community outreach activities.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITES:
- Developing new business and maintaining current customers in specified sales territory.
- Professional phone etiquette and strong customer services skills.
- Develop, plan, and successfully execute strategies to grow the specified sales territory.
- Prepare and communicate weekly events and need to know information to Sales staff at weekly staff meetings.
- Visit customers to ensure quality service, educate and introduce new products, explore customer needs and how company may serve them in different ways.
- Participate in community outreach events during weekdays and weekends
- Work weekends as needed for merchandising and on site counseling
- Effectively communicate and coordinate daily work flow in Salesforce and with Sales Manager.
- Expand the customer base through direct personal contact with potential customers.
- Work to increase the number of products and services sold to those customers.
- Become a resource to your customers as a product and service consultant and to implement solutions.
- Other duties as required.
REQUIRED SKILLS:
- Ability to organize, analyze, interpret and evaluate problems and provide practical, cost effective solutions; ability to juggle multiple priorities; ability to communicate effectively with customers, co-workers, contractors and the general public, both orally and in writing.
- Ability to plan, organize and monitor the work and activities of self and direct reports; ability to plan, organize and monitor activities according to priorities, established schedules and deadlines.
- Ability to apply common sense and good judgment to every day situations; ability to see all sides of an issue and use good judgment and common sense to effect win/win solutions.
- Computer skills; MS word, excel and outlook.

EDUCATION/CERTIFICATION:
- Graduation from high school or a GED equivalent.
- Two year degree (preferred).
EXPERIENCE/OTHER
- Direct sales
- Compost / soil sales

- Soil knowledges
- Minimum two year of sales experience.
- Must have a valid and current State of Washington driver’s license.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
To successfully perform the essential duties of this position, an individual must be able to sit for more than 4 hours per day, answer and talk on telephone, email, work with computer system up to 4 hours per day and drive a motor vehicle.
