Cedar Park Med is recruiting dedicated and skilled Licensed Practical Nurses (LPNs) who are ready to provide quality patient care and join a supportive team environment. Key Responsibilities:
- Demonstrate knowledge of principles of growth and development to assess and interpret data for identifying age-specific needs.
- Provide leadership and coordination of quality patient care, fostering therapeutic relationships and active treatment.
- Administer medications and oversee the medication room, ensuring compliance with protocols and regulations.
- Maintain a therapeutic environment and carry out nursing care recommendations and orders.
- Serve as a shift leader when assigned, making work assignments for direct care staff and providing oversight to subordinate nursing staff.
- Respond to medical emergencies and provide care/treatment as ordered by medical staff.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records, ensuring adherence to hospital or facility protocols.
- Perform additional duties as assigned within the Nursing Department.
Requirements:
- Must possess a valid Kansas LPN license/temporary permit or have authorization to practice by the Kansas State Board of Nursing upon onboarding.
- Minimum of 1 year of practical nursing experience.
- Current BLS and/or ACLS certification.
