We are currently seeking an energetic, highly motivated and dynamic individual to handle the recruitment and enrollment of participants for our studies. In this role, you will manage all aspects of participant recruitment for research projects. This includes but isn’t limited to submitting advertising proposals, managing recruiting budgets, placing ads, and managing vendor relationships. You will coordinate the day-to-day activities for multiple projects simultaneously and will be responsible for effectively handling issues relating to recruiting.
Responsibilities:
- Screen potential participants to ensure they understand the basic details of the study and to make sure they meet protocol specific inclusion/exclusion criteria
- Maintains a high level of knowledge and understanding of inclusion/exclusion criteria for all enrolling protocols
- Cooperate/collaborate with all staff members
- Collaborate both remotely and in person with community organizations and events to inform, educate, and enroll potential participants in clinical trials
- Maintain participant screening appointment schedules in CTMS system
- Perform reminder calls and/or manage the performance of those calls (Note, some reminder calls may need to be completed outside of regular work hours)
- Grow and maintain the Recruitment Database of study volunteers
- Adherence to Best Practices, Good Clinical Practices (GCPs) and corporation’s Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)
- Manage recruitment budgets effectively to ensure that enrollment goals are met
- Develop Recruitment & Enrollment plans for each study post PSSV and prior to SIV
- Monitor Key Performance Indicators (KPI’s) associated with Recruitment & Enrollment and report to management on them as directed
- Work with clinic Providers to educate, instruct and support them with introducing study opportunities to their patients during clinic visits
- Create, and maintain manual of Best Practices for the Recruitment & Enrollment team members
- Support Clinical Coordinators and other staff as a backup if needed
- Interact with marketing department to create, update and approve all marketing materials
- Trouble shoot all Recruitment plans and make appropriate adjustments if the recruitment & enrollment goals are not being met
- Contribute to the accurate completion of Feasibility Questionnaires as needed
- Identify and maintain a list of patients by Therapeutic Area from the clinic EMR
- Attend and contribute to all meetings as directed
- Maintain, monitor, and train others on appropriate phone etiquette & skills
- Train staff on Recruitment & Enrollment processes & procedures
- Perform all other duties as requested in a competent and professional manner
Requirements
Qualifications:
- Participant Recruiting: 2 years (Required)
- Must have High School Diploma or GED
- Bachelor’s Degree preferred
- Intermediate to advanced MS Office Suite Skills
Schedule:
- 8 hour shift
- Day shift
- Monday to Friday
- Event recruitment may require some weekend, Saturday/Sunday, responsibilities. Weekday schedule will be adjusted as necessary to accommodate weekend work.
