Cedar's Mediterranean Foods, Inc., a family-owned business right here in Ward Hill, MA, is looking to grow our family with this new position.
Continuous Improvement Data Entry
Work in collaboration with the Continuous Improvement specialist and Production Manager to:
  • Collect daily production data for multiple production lines to track lines efficiencies in 2 different plants.
  • Track filler and packaging downtime and report to the continuous improvement specialist.
  • Assist in taking actions to increase lines’ efficiencies.
  • Communicate with leaders and operators to have more efficient and smooth production.
  • Collect daily product weight to track shrinkage cause by over and underweight units.
  • Identify major shrinkage problems by watching the production.
Labor Training Checking
Work in collaboration with the Project Manager to:
  • Enter training requirement for each supervisor, leader, operator and helper.
  • Follow up on training needs for Cedar’s supervisors, leaders, operators and helpers.
Required experience and skills
  • Excellent verbal and written skills.
  • English is a must. Spanish is a plus.
  • Positive and cooperative attitude, motivated to contribute to the overall success of the team.
  • Obsessive attention to detail, well organized and able to juggle many projects at once.
  • Ability to adapt to changing organizational and operational needs; ability to lead others through change.
  • Passionate about food.
  • Bilingual English/Spanish
Entering production plants is a requirement for this position.
