Job Overview: We are seeking a skilled and reliable Rental Property Maintenance Person to join our dedicated maintenance team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the overall upkeep, repair, and maintenance of our rental properties. This role plays a critical part in maintaining resident satisfaction and the overall functionality of our properties.
Responsibilities:
- Perform routine maintenance tasks such as plumbing, electrical repairs, HVAC maintenance, painting, and carpentry work.
- Conduct regular inspections of properties to identify maintenance needs and safety concerns.
- Respond promptly to maintenance requests from property residents and address issues in a timely and efficient manner.
- Complete work orders and maintain accurate records of maintenance activities.
- Maintain the cleanliness and curb appeal of properties through landscaping and exterior maintenance tasks.
- Assist in the turnover process of rental units, including cleaning, repairs, and painting.
- Adhere to safety guidelines and regulations while performing maintenance tasks.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent; trade school certification is a plus.
- Proven experience in property maintenance, including basic plumbing, electrical, and carpentry skills wanted but not required.
- Excellent time management and organizational abilities.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong communication skills and a customer-service-oriented mindset.
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
- Physical ability to lift heavy objects, perform manual labor, and work in various weather conditions.
