The Loan Servicing Processor is responsible for performing servicing and operational aspects relative to our loan servicing operations. Must analyze, reconcile, and perform appropriate account actions in a timely manner in accordance with established servicing and origination guidelines. The position works closely under the supervision of the Loan Servicing Specialist and the Loan Servicing Manager and other internal partners to complete specific tasks related to the Loan Servicing.

Responsibilities:
Assists in the maintenance of existing accounts
Assists in the boarding of new and transferred accounts
Assists with the processing and posting payments and financial adjustments (payment allocations, ACH transmissions, Auto-Debit, check returns, fee billing, fee reversals, principal/interest adjustments)
Assists with customer contact and communications (responding to customer inquiries and participating in compliance communications)
Assists in the management of recovery and delinquent accounts
Participates in the maintenance of loan files and documentation
Collaborates with designated city staff on issues related to the servicing of their loan programs
Collaborates with other intradepartmental partners on specific tasks
Qualifications/Job Requirements:
Minimum of 3 years’ experience in loan servicing field
Bachelor’s Degree in related field preferred, or equivalent work experience
Basic knowledge of collections, loan servicing regulations and best practices
Familiarity with residential and commercial loan documents
Basic knowledge of Accounts Payable (AP) processes
Basic knowledge of Account Receivable (AR) processes
Computer savvy
Excellent mathematical skills
Basic Understanding of Excel and databases
Ability to view and operate a personal computer, either desktop or laptop, for extended periods of time creating, composing, and reviewing documents and spreadsheets
High comfort level with modern office technology
Ability to sit or stand for extended periods of time
Working hours are during CEE’s business hours, but evenings and weekends may be required
Ability to perform work indoors in an office environment, whether in cubicle, open office, or private office
Excellent time-management, organizational skills, and ability to meet deadlines
Compensation
Depending upon qualifications and experience, the salary range for this position is expected to be between $23-$25/hr.
