Who are we?

Celebration Community Church (CCC) is a church for all people. We share in God's worship in the Christian tradition, making God's grace and love known as we work toward peace and justice. We are an inclusive and affirming center of worship with a consistent attendance of 150 congregants. Worship encompasses diverse musical styles, including traditional, contemporary, and secular.

What are we looking for?

We are looking for a follower of Jesus Christ to make CCC their church home and serve as a part-time Choir Director glorifying God through worship. Tasks include selecting and procuring musical compositions, coordinating and directing rehearsals and performances, and managing volunteer choirs, instrumentalists, and audio-visual and sound technicians.

Desired Qualifications:

• A degree in music, music education, or related field is preferred but not

required with comparable work experience.

• Knowledgeable of music, both vocally and instrumentally.

• Committed to continuing spiritual, personal, and professional

development.

• Follows through with commitments and oversees tasks to completion.

• Dependable, self-motivated, and comfortable taking initiative.

• Possess strong team-building and communication skills.

• Teachable with a willingness to grow and learn.

Job Responsibilities:

• Coordinate, rehearse, and lead all aspects of music.

• Identify, recruit, train, coach, and develop singers, instrumentalists, and audio-visual

and sound technicians.

• Oversee the operation of the church sound system.

• Direct congregational singing, choir, soloists, and ensembles during church services

• Co-lead the Worship Committee with the Pastor in selecting music, considering

sermon topics, scripture reading, and other worship service elements.

• Create, submit for approval, and manage the annual music budget.

• Manage the church music library and digital music in Planning Center Online.

• Work with appropriate leaders and committees to carry out the church's ministries.

Pay: $20,000.00 - $30,000.00 per year
