Job Purpose:

Evaluate and verify all information for residential mortgage loan applications including the collection of supporting documentation and vendor products.  Submit complete mortgage loan application files for Underwriting and Closing.  Provide exceptional service to all customers internal and external while maintaining accuracy and quality.

Duties and Responsibilities:

•    Maintains knowledge of all policies and modifications to the guidelines and standards of the company, federal housing programs, investors, and private mortgage insurers.

•    Maintains and updates loan application information within Encompass 360 and other applications.

•    Verifies the data collected, analyzes, and confirms whether it meets guidelines or if other documentation is needed

•    Completes final evaluation and analysis of completed application packages and submits eligible files specifying any applicable conditions.

•    Review AUS Findings (DU/LP) to verify all applicable documentation has been gathered and addressed

•    Verify that credit documents (1003, Residency, Income, Assets and Liabilities) are accurate and review third party documents (Appraisal, Title, etc.) to ensure salability.

•    Maintain knowledge of all company policy and procedure

•    Provide proactive communication to customers, Loan Officers, Underwriters, Closers, and other business partners involved in the loan transaction

•    Meet business goals as established by management.

Qualifications:

•    College degree of commensurate business experience

•    Minimum 3 years mortgage operations experience

•    Must have extensive knowledge of state and federal residential lending regulations.

•    Strong interpersonal and teamwork skills and ability to influence through collaboration.

•    Self-motivated, high level of personal energy and commitment.

•    Customer experience focused: empathetic, caring and driven to resolve client and team member issues and concerns

•    Possess exceptional organizational, problem solving and communication skills with strong attention to detail

•    Ability to handle multiple tasks, take on new responsibilities and prioritize work in a deadline intensive environment

•    Experience with Encompass 360 preferred.
