Communications Specialist

Location: Waterloo, IowaJob Type: ContractCompensation Range: $19 - 20 per hour Our client, a leading manufacturer of agricultural, construction, forestry, and turf care equipment globally is seeking a dynamic and driven Communications Specialist to join their team!As a Communications Specialist, you will play a crucial role in ensuring effective internal communication strategies to align employees with the goals and objectives of their respective Business Units. This individual will collaborate closely with various departments, employee-directed groups, and managers to identify communication needs and develop impactful messaging strategies. Responsibilities: Provide detailed communication plans to ensure key audiences receive key messages in regards to current projects, events, or changes impacting the business. Develop strategic communication content that impacts the knowledge and understanding of key projects, events or business changes. Work with multiple media such as video, design, and print. Oversee project plans and key milestones for projects that are integral for the enterprise/division/unit and support the company's business objectives. Develop and manage a variety of communication tools to ensure key messages reach appropriate audiences (internal/external). Write, develop and coordinate unit/division/function initiative messages (i.e., presentations, letters, etc.) for senior leadership for global distribution to ensure timely, accurate, aligned communication is executed in a way that meet Company and audience requirements. Deliver communications and graphic elements to internal and external partners that align with organization's goals. Plan, edit, and manage communications and activities for Operations. Adhere to brand standards and tone when creating digital signage, printed content, digital content, and videos. Assist in identifying communication needs and messages. Assist in executing communication activities for Operations (creation of materials for events, photography, video, etc.). Serve as liaison with suppliers. Qualifications: Experience level: Entry Level Minimum 2 years of experience Bachelors degree in Communications / Graphic Design / Business discipline or equivalent work experience. Strong written and verbal communication skills. High working knowledge of Adobe Suite software. Familiarity with design concepts and principles. High level of attention to detail and accuracy Strong organizational skills. Photography and camera skills. Video filming and editing skills. X20 experience.
