We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Product Manager to join our retail client's team in Framingham! As a Product Manager, you will be responsible for managing the lifecycle of products from ideation to execution, ensuring they meet market needs and deliver value to our client's customers. The ideal candidate will have a passion for retail, strong analytical skills, and the ability to drive product strategies that align with business goals.
Responsibilities:
Develop and maintain strong working relationships with vendors and agents. Ensure clear communication of styling details and prompt resolution of production problems.
Initiate the development process according to the time and action calendar. Collaborate with Merchandising, Design, and Sourcing teams to review technical packages for accuracy and detail.
Execute realistic programs utilizing cross-department efficiencies to achieve successful adoption rates.
Work with the team to develop executable and production-efficient programs based on global climate conditions.
Collaborate with agents to develop new techniques and concept samples.
Review all sample submissions from vendors for compliance with standards, and work with vendors to address and correct any issues.
Manage delivery and production flow, ensuring adherence to the Time & Action calendar.
Monitor Work-In-Progress (WIP) reports with the Product Development team, agents, and vendors to ensure on-time delivery for all programs.
Perform special projects as assigned.
Qualifications:
Experience level: Experienced
Degree in Fashion/Home Product Design and/or Merchandising.
3-5 years of product development experience.
Proficiency in PC skills, including Lotus Notes, Microsoft Office, PLM, Web PDM, and Adobe Illustrator.
Broad-based knowledge of garment specifications, including clothing construction and grading.
Knowledge of garment testing standards and protocols.
Effective communication skills.
Strong math skills.
Ability to communicate and interpret conceptual design ideas.
Strong interpersonal skills.
Ability to work well in a team environment.
Ability to handle multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
Strong organizational and follow-through skills.
