We are actively hiring a Digital Product Owner in a hybrid work environment capacity for our client in the Quad City Area!
In this engaging role, you'll be responsible for overseeing the development and execution of digital communication platforms and services. You'll play a key part in driving success for remote delivery and digital teams by guiding projects from concept to completion. Your focus will be on ensuring that every enhancement to the software is driven by the needs of the end user, keeping them at the heart of all decisions.
Responsibilities:
- Product Ownership: Lead the full lifecycle management of digital communication tools, ensuring alignment with business goals and customer needs.
- User-Centered Development: Act as a champion for the end users, ensuring all software updates and enhancements are designed with a user-first approach.
- Cross-Channel Management: Oversee and maintain multiple digital engagement platforms, including phone, video, chat, and text, ensuring seamless integration and functionality.
- Process Optimization: Identify opportunities to improve operational workflows associated with digital products, streamlining processes to enhance efficiency and user experience.
- Vendor Management: Oversee vendor relationships, handling contracts, invoicing, and communication regarding technology upgrades, system downtime, feature/functionality updates, and escalated product support issues.
- Product Development Alignment: Ensure that new product launches and ongoing enhancements align with the organization's resources, values, member needs, and strategic goals.
- Strategic Recommendations: Provide insights on potential enhancements, areas for improvement, product eliminations, and new revenue-generating opportunities.
- Technical Expertise: Develop and maintain a deep understanding of product technologies, including how each product works from end to end, along with its features and operations.
- User-Centric Enhancements: Ensure that all product improvements are guided by a user-first approach, putting member experience at the forefront of every decision.
- Comprehensive Documentation: Maintain detailed product documentation, including roadmaps, Agile backlogs (features and user stories), data flow diagrams, product canvases, process flows, user acceptance testing records, and total cost of ownership reports.
Qualifications:
- Experience level: Experienced
- Bachelor's Degree or Business or other related field preferred.
- 1-3 years of Financial Institution or Financial Technology experience.
- 1-3 years as a Digital Product Owner, Technical Product Manager, Business.
- Analyst, Systems Analyst, or equivalent role.
- Experience managing or working with an enterprise Phone System, enterprise.
