Private Equity-owned leading marketer, manufacturer and distributor of dietary supplements designed to support cellular health and provide root-cause solutions. The Company’s products are primarily sold in Healthcare Practitioner and Direct-to-Consumer channels.

The Company is experiencing rapid growth which necessitates the need for a highly accomplished, entrepreneurial and results-oriented senior Product Development Manager to help scale this high-growth business.

Role:

The Product Development Manager, Supplements will manage product development projects including research, concept, development, and commercialization of new ingestible products and portfolio extensions. This role reports to the CEO and will work closely with cross functional partners across Supply Chain, Formulation, Regulatory, Quality, Marketing and Clinical & Medical Affairs and will be the day-to-day point of contact to our vendors and manufacturers, managing new developments and optimizations in an accelerated timeline.

Responsibilities:

● Own the product development timelines and calendars for all new development across the brand,

keeping the team, vendors and cross functionals aligned and on schedule

● Research and present trending, category competitive and white space opportunities to Director

and leadership teams

● Manage consumer focus groups and research for product development and launch activation

● Lead the day to day relationship and management with our key vendors and manufacturers

● Put together full briefs for new product ideas and packaging requests with creative background,

research and examples that will make each launch unique

● Work closely with the Supply Chain team on sourcing packaging materials, and making

optimizations to existing packaging

● Work alongside the Marketing Team to bring products to market and optimize existing product

marketing

● Collect all submissions and samples for the team and management with, including on-site

approvals whenever necessary

● Own the collection and organization of critical research, testing, specs, artwork, etc.

● Diligently proof all artwork and copy of all product packaging to align with consistency,

regulatory requirements, grammar and marketing needs

● Collect, analyze, interpret, and make recommendations from data to enable execution of projects

● Act as the supplement ingredient expert to collaborate with the wider team and Education lead to

support how we talk about our quality ingredients in marketing materials and education platforms

● Utilize research with product knowledge to work on the launch activation and go-to-market

strategy of new products with brand marketing team

Requirements:

● 4 years experience in product development in supplements, foods, cosmetics, and/or OTCs

● Proven track record of managing all aspects of the development lifecycle

● Understanding of supplement development timelines and regulatory pathways

● Experience sourcing and qualifying packaging components

● Strong communication skills

● Team player able to adapt to changes and and drive cross-functional efficiency

● Demonstrated flexible, proactive & self-motivated to deliver against accelerated timelines

● Organized, detail-oriented, hands-on approach

● Experience with sustainability initiatives and/or a passion for sustainability

● Understanding of/experience working with CROs/claims and clinicalsOverview:

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $93,960.00 - $102,112.00 per year
