As an HVAC Dispatcher you will work as part of a dynamic and passionate team assisting our HVAC department and technicians by sending the right technician to the right job while ensuring the highest level of care for our customers.

The Big Task

• 
  Receive, verify, and dispatch customer requests, as well as schedule and confirm appointments.
• Organize, prioritize, and divide customer jobs to field technicians.
• Dispatch technicians, maintain the dispatch board
• Complete and submit reports as required to supervisor and management.
• Buffer Customer Service and answer incoming calls as needed.
• Work with warehouse on tracking truck repairs, tools, and PO’s.
• Send messages and appointments to technicians.
• Attend to customer questions and requests
• Communicate and work closely with HVAC Managers
• Maintain regularly scheduled appointment status updates for customers
• Follow all standard company procedures for call taking, scheduling sold jobs, taking deposits
• Keep the 10 day call board updated
• Advise Customer Service of changes in dispatch charges in a timely manner
• Handle all HVAC appointment reschedules
• Respond promptly and appropriately to customer requests, resolving issues and promoting the brand
• Be responsive to the needs of internal and external customers
• Maintain and update the customer database with complete and accurate information

Physical Demands:

• 
  Ability to operate overhead doors
• Accept deliveries
• Ensure proper parts are in stock before scheduling sold jobs
• Carry supplies or use pallet jack to move inventory
• Ability to lift up to 25 lbs
• Assist in housekeeping when needed
• Sit or stand for extended periods of time

REQUIREMENTS

• Must demonstrate above average oral, written, and communication skills

• Previous experience dispatching in a high volume, fast paced environment a plus
• Able to work extra hours if demand dictates
• Comfortable working with multiple monitors, software platforms and applications simultaneously
