Job Summary
The Transport Operations Rating Coordinator is a critical position that is responsible for ensuring that transportation rates are entered and maintained in the Transport Operations system of record. The position will need to coordinate with other Cemex departments served by Transport to validate rates for internal shipments. They will also need to coordinate with external customers to enter and maintain rates for those customers. They will also be expected to monitor general industry transportation rates and patterns and chair regular pricing meetings with the various Transport lines of business to confirm rating standards and recommend changes as needed to maintain operational and financial standards.
Job Responsibilities
- Provide rating knowledge and support to management and users for all Transport software systems.
- Create SOP and SOC validation protocols for rate entry and maintenance in the software system of record across business operations and supporting areas including GES Accounting.
- Chair regular meetings with the General Managers and sales team within the Transport department to review and recommend any changes to the rates that are required.
- Assist any external sales team members with quotes and RFI requests from new or existing customers.
- Provide metrics and recommendations to the VP and General Managers of the Transport lines of business on pricing trends and potential issues.
- Identify and pursue new opportunities to leverage technology to advance the organization and business objectives
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree or industry experience in a related discipline required
- Experience with Aggregate, Cement or Flatbed transportation rating required
- Experience in Transportation Systems and Software preferred
- Ability to drive analytics and reporting requirement for applications

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $74,000.00 - $90,000.00 per year
