With continuous growth at CenExel CNS, we are looking to fill our vacant Kitchen Assistant position. We would love to speak to you if you have:
- An understanding and knowledge of proper food handling and service
- The ability to lift and carry food service supplies and equipment without restriction
- Ability to interact and communicate in English both verbally and in writing
As a Kitchen Assistant, you are responsible for handling and serving food to patients throughout the facility. The Kitchen Assistant is also responsible for assisting with inventorying food deliveries and picking up needed food supplies at the store.
Essential Responsibilities and Duties:
- Able to follow instructions from supervisor, study coordinators, etc., regarding study-specific food requirements and restrictions
- Deliver and pass out food for patients
- Assist with inventorying, ordering, and maintaining all dietary supplies and food
- Assist with maintaining disaster food supply on-site
- Maintain sanitation and safety standards within the food-handling areas
