JOB SUMMARY:
The Senior Director is responsible for the direct oversight and management of multiple programs as assigned including but not limited to Short-Term Residential, Detox, MAT, IOP and recovery housing programs. The Senior Director is also responsible for ensuring strategic and operational goals are attained in the context of quality and cost-effective service delivery, including ensuring appropriate mix of funding sources. Monitor facility operations to ensure compliance with organizational policies and state regulatory requirements.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
- Monitor facility and program operations to ensure budgetary and program service delivery objectives are met.
- Ensure organizational compliance with stated licensure requirements and disseminate regulatory information to the CEO.
- Work cooperatively with the CEO and the Chief Financial Officer to establish the annual budgets for the facilities and programs. Submit the annual budget to the President/CEO and the Chief Financial Officer for approval as scheduled. Approve expenditures within signing authority.
- Ensure facility/program teams work cooperatively with Clinical/Quality Assurance department to maintain compliance with regulatory and CARF requirements.
- Ensure facility/program teams work cooperatively with Access Center and Admissions, Insurance Billing and Utilization Review departments to maintain efficient admissions and insurance billing processing, meeting deadlines and funding criteria as required.
- Ensure Client Satisfaction Survey is properly administered at each location and results are disseminated to appropriate personnel.
- Assist in developing and overseeing local Advisory Boards at each of the residential facilities and ensure quarterly meetings are held as requested.
- Assist staff in development and cultivation of new and existing relationships with community supporters, legislative personnel, insurance referral sources, and judicial system representatives.
- Ensure support for BDM’s in the region to facilitate capacity and census goals, maintain referrals and community relationships.
- Work with Advancement Department for all marketing, special events, grants and donor management to meet the needs of the Foundation.
- Assist in the preparation of quarterly or annual reports as required by governmental granting agencies, referral sources or as requested.
- Work with the Human Resource Department for staffing, training, employee relations issues, performance evaluations and maintenance of personnel files, documentation and licensure requirements for Foundation staff.
- Ensure completion of Big 5 performance management tool for direct reports by the required deadlines and use of SMART goals to support annual performance compensation review.
- Ensure that all employee corrective actions and complaints are documented in compliance with foundation policies and procedures, with the knowledge and assistance of the Human Resource Department and CEO and following local, state and federal and laws.
- Report all client injuries to the CFO within 24 hours and report all staff injuries to the CFO and Human Resource Department within 24 hours.
- Role model and uphold the core principles of Cenikor’s culture and contribute to a positive working environment for all team members.
- Maintain strict confidentiality on all client and Foundation matters.
- Perform additional duties as assigned and consistent with the exempt functions as defined in this job description.
QUALIFICATIONS FOR THE POSITION:

- Ability to manage resources to meet requirements of multiple funding sources.

- Skilled in excellent oral and written communication.
- Travel up to 30% required.
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office software required, including specific MS Outlook calendar experience.

Education:
- Bachelor’s degree required.
- Master’s preferred.
Experience:
- Five (5) years prior facility administrator experience required.
- Seven (7) years of experience working in substance use treatment services preferred.
