IT Inventory Assistant

We are looking to add a new IT Inventory Assistant to our team.
We are looking for a dependable, proactive person to support our Purchasing Manager in the warehouse with the daily tasks of receiving and sending out products, while maintaining our inventory. You will also assist the Voice team with set up of telecommunications equipment. This is an entry level position with room for growth into a Jr. PC/Telecommunications Technician.
Job Details
Responsibilities:
- Receives and processes all incoming packages
- Packs and processes all outgoing shipments
- Perform all internal inventory functions: Weekly counts, entering information in ConnectWise database, tagging equipment following internal processes, review for accuracy
- Process all vendor RMA or warranty repair requests
- Maintain, clean and organize warehouse on daily basis
- Pick up orders from local vendors/ Deliver and pick up equipment from job sites
- Programs NEC phones for installs
- Stages and prepares system and service equipment
- Assists with phone and/or cable installation at customer sites
- Assist with emergency service trouble tickets
Education/Experience:
High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Computer Skills:
To perform this job successfully, an individual should have knowledge of Microsoft Word, Microsoft Outlook, Microsoft Excel, ConnectWise and UPS World Ship.
Certificates and Licenses:
Valid driver's license
