The Center for Alcohol and Drug Treatment (CADT) located in Duluth, MN is nonprofit agency dedicated to assisting people seeking recovery from substance use and abuse. CADT believes in meeting patients where they are at in their recovery journey and implements harm reduction strategies as well as more traditional approaches to treatment. CADT offers a full spectrum of care including, detoxification, withdrawal management, medication assisted treatment, residential and outpatient substance use treatment.

Treatment Director

CADT is looking to hire a Treatment Director for our patients in our residential departments. The Treatment Director will have regular, structured meetings with staff to review client treatment plans as well as discuss professional matters. Will guide providers to assess clients treatment strategies, consult and referrals for mental health services, and ensure compliance of regulations. You will help select, train, evaluate, discipline, and motivate staff. You will ensure the quality of clinical documentation at all times.

To be successful in this role you need to display strong leadership skills and make thoughtful decisions to maintain providers who can adequately fulfill clients’ treatment needs. Top candidates will be organized, knowledgeable and excellent communicators.

Primary Clinical Supervisor Responsibilities:

• Having regular meetings with the department heads and providers.
• Oversee and review Counselor/Providers work tasks.
• Counseling, motivating, and providing supervision to providers.
• Conducting employee performance reviews.
• Ensuring providers comply with licensing regulations.
• Ensuring compliance, accuracy, and quality of clinical documentation.
• Assisting providers by supervising complex cases.
• Enhancing operations by ensuring sufficient staffing and adequate access to services.
• Developing programs and ensuring compliance with procedures and policies.

Clinical Supervisor Requirements:

• Licensed Alcohol and Drug Counselor Required
• 3 years of experience related to Chemical Dependency
• Supervisory experience in a similar role preferred
• Understanding of State requirements and experience working with MN DHS
• Proficient with MS Office Word and Excel.
• Proficient with supervision, service delivery, and case management fundamentals.
• Strong people skills.
• Outstanding communication skills, both written and verbal.

Pay: $60,000.00 - $65,000.00 per year
