POSITION DESCRIPTION
Provide crucial clinical context and direction to the development, design, implementation, and maintenance of all information systems used in delivery of care for Center Programs.
The Health Information Systems & Data Manager is responsible for the integrity and integration of data that will enhance and support the effective delivery of care and measure the impact of initiatives on both program and cost outcomes. This is a full-time exempt position, reporting to the Executive Director.
- Schedule - 40-hour work week, Monday – Friday, 830am – 5pm
KEY JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
- Support, design, and manage software systems. Manage and maintain database, generate, and analyze reports, update software as needed.
- Model development, research, care delivery standardization, and knowledge asset development.
- Facilitate data information management, stewardship, quality, acquisition, and interpretation.
- Manage health information systems that meet standards of accrediting and regulatory agencies.
- Collect, code, and maintain data unique to Center for Children. Assist with performance improvement, and administrative planning for all evidence-based programs.
- Responsible for providing accurate and timely reports for client care documentation.
- Convert requirements into comprehensive detailed design specifications (integration, databases, data flows, transformations, interfaces, reports, etc.) for solutions.
EDUCATION AND WORK EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS
REQUIRED
- Bachelor’s degree in health informatics, business administration, computer science, or related field.
- Knowledge of clinical-based care delivery processes.
- Able to perform database SQL queries, have SQL programming experience to fill data requests for the Clinical Research Data Warehouse (CRDW).
- Must be able to quickly master medical /human services terminology related to filling data requests.
- Computer skills including Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access, Project) and experience in maintaining the integrity of a database; a moderate to high knowledge of statistics and their use in outcome reporting.
- Ability to multitask and be extremely detail oriented.
- Valid driver’s license and vehicle insurance.
- Successfully complete State and Federal background investigation and drug test.

Pay: $75,000.00 - $82,000.00 per year
