Position Summary:

Maintain collaboration with consumers, Clarion County Court President and Senior Judge, Clarion County Court staff, Clarion County Probation Department staff, Clarion County Jail staff and treatment providers to ensure that collaborative planning and coordination of services occurs.

Essential Functions:

• Collaborate with Behavioral Health Court Probation Officer and treatment providers to ensure program compliance and make contact with all participants in compliance with the Behavioral Health Court policy and procedures.
• Make appropriate referrals to services for all Behavioral Health Court participants and Treatment Court participants in a timely manner.
• Attend all Behavioral Health Court team meetings and Court proceedings as well as all Treatment Court team meetings and Court proceedings.
• Complete Base Service Unit intakes on all Behavioral Health Court and Treatment Court participants in need of County funding for mental health services.
• Complete mental health screenings on all new commitments at the Clarion County Jail and inform Forensic Liaison of those inmates in need of mental health services upon their release from incarceration.
• Complete all reports, documentation, and data entry in a timely and accurate fashion.
• Provide daytime mental health crisis intervention coverage on a rotating schedule.
• Other duties as assigned to fulfill the mission of the agency.

Daylight, Monday-Friday hours, Some flex schedule. Travel required. Mileage reimbursement is available at the state set rate!

The starting rate is $18/hour.

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in human services or related field (Sociology, Social Work, Human Development and Psychology are strong preferred). One-year mental health experience or Criminal Justice experience. Able to exercise sound judgment. Be well organized, have excellent verbal and written communication skills. Take initiative, be flexible and cooperative. Maintain strict confidentiality.

Valid driver’s license, proof of auto insurance, Act 33/34 and FBI clearances will be required. Individuals who have accessed human services are encouraged to apply. EOE/ADA
