BI Support Worker -(4356)

Location: East Orange, NJ

Job Type/Status: Part-Time, Fee for Service

Duties and Responsibilities: 

• Embrace and demonstrate the mission, philosophy and values of Center for Family Services

• Provide bilingual Spanish speaking human trafficking screenings, human trafficking education and parenting education virtually and in office as needed.

• Responsible for competing the paperwork (i.e. progress notes, Human Trafficking Screening, other paperwork, etc.) within required time frames in electronic health record.

• Provide follow up on results of Human Trafficking Screening.

• Complete all necessary paperwork in electronic health record in a thorough, timely and professional manner.

• Complete all necessary billing paperwork in a timely manner.

• Maintain ethical and legal compliance.

REQUIREMENTS: 

• Associate's degree in a related field (e.g., social work, counseling, psychology, psychiatric nursing, criminal justice, special education) and a minimum of one year of experience working with individuals and families.

• Experience with trauma informed practice.

• Must be energetic, creative, and able to work as part of a community resource team, and be culturally competent and responsive.

• Must pass a federal criminal background check.

• Bilingual Spanish speaking required.
