What are the responsibilities and job description for the Student Intern (4656) position at Center for Family Services?
Location: TBD based on program placement
Job Type/Status: Internship
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Core Responsibilities for Job Role/Sector:
- Learn how to appropriately navigate treatment, social service and support systems
- Will observe and provide supervised direct services through a variety of modalities
- The registered intern will participate in regular supervision in accordance with the guidelines of his/her college
- Complete any documentation, time sheets and learning contracts with Practicum Supervisor that is required by the college
- Willing to learn new things and take on new tasks
- Assists with gaining skills and resources needed to support the individuals served
- Observe, learn, and utilize interventions based on systemic, behavioral and cognitive modalities of collaboratively develop service plans and goals which are behaviorally specific
- System collaboration within a multidisciplinary team
REQUIREMENTS:
- The registered intern is currently enrolled at an accredited college or university
- Be registered for college credits for a field experience or internship, or be enrolled in a class that requires a specific number of hours of community contact
- Have a college instructor or liaison monitoring the intern's experience
- At least 18 years old
- The registered intern will have a valid driver's license per vendor agency requirements
