Pain Management Physician Assistant
Center for Neurosciences is Southern Arizona’s largest and longest standing neuroscience group practice, is looking for an experienced Physician Assistant to work in its Interventional Pain Management Center. Our Interventional Pain Management Center specializes in minimally invasive pain therapies and medication management.

Essential Functions:
- Orders and interprets diagnostic test results.
- Provides education to patient regarding results of diagnostic tests.
- Makes diagnoses and decisions about management and treatment of the pain patient.
- Prescribes therapy and/or medication per practice guidelines.
- Is familiar with interventional pain management procedures performed by the pain management physician, including spinal and joint injections.
- Instructs and counsels patients about prescribed therapeutic regimens, normal findings, emotional problems of daily living, and health maintenance.
- Performs interventional injections for diagnostic and/or therapeutic purposes with the option of utilizing ultrasound guidance.
Qualifications:
- Graduate of an accredited program for Physician Assistants
- Current Arizona Physician Assistant license
- Valid AZ DEA with Schedule II-IV DEA
- Minimum 2 years of experience in Pain Management
