The Center for People is a dynamic non-profit organization that provides innovative services and programs to the low-income community in Lincoln, Nebraska, addressing basic needs and providing opportunities to achieve economic independence for our clients. 


The Center has been fighting poverty in Lincoln, Nebraska since 2003. We are the Food Bank of Lincoln's largest partner, distributing food to more than 5,400 low-income families. We are also home to Lincoln's first Diaper Bank, established to meet the growing need for diapers in our community. Education is the key to helping low-income individuals obtain economic independence. As such, the Center developed educational and training programs to help people obtain employment with a living wage.


We are currently looking for a Talent Marketplace Relationship Coordinator. This position is a full-time, 40 hour per week, onsite position. 


GENERAL FUNCTIONS


The Talent Marketplace Relationship Coordinator manages relationships between our Employers of Choice and Employees of Choice, through our proprietary platform, Talent Marketplace. The primary objective is to optimize the experience for both Employers of Choice and Employees of Choice, fostering long-term relationships and maximizing the effectiveness of our Talent Marketplace platform. This role is community-facing and is responsible for supporting our two unique demographics, Employers of Choice and Employees of Choice.


ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES


• Expert understanding of Talent Marketplace platform (training provided)
• Serve as the primary resource for Employees of Choice utilizing our Talent Marketplace platform
• Serve as a secondary resource for Employers of Choice seeking instruction, access, or fielding questions
• Build and maintain strong, trusted relationships with Employees of Choice through regular communication and supportive engagement
• Understand the needs, objectives, and challenges of both Employers and Employees of Choice, allowing for a tailored approach to solutions
• Collaborate with Employers of Choice to identify opportunities for improvement and growth within the Talent Marketplace ecosystem
• Coordinate focus groups with Employees of Choice to better understand barriers as they are seeking employment and again, to track outcomes
post-employment
• Engage Employees of Choice within Talent Marketplace, ensuring a positive and supportive experience
• Provide guidance and assistance to Employees of Choice regarding platform usage, opportunities, and career development resources
• Act as an advocate for Employers and Employees of Choice, addressing any concerns or issues promptly and effectively
• Foster a sense of community and belonging among Employees of Choice through engagement initiatives and communication channels
• Facilitate communication between Employers of Choice and Employees of Choice, ensuring clarity of roles and responsibilities

• Coordinate and schedule meetings, workshops, and events related to the talent marketplace, involving both Employers and Employees of Choice
• Contribute in partnership with the quarterly Career Fair, co-sponsored by the Workforce Training Team
• Keep Employers and Employees of Choice apprised of updates, changes, and developments within Talent Marketplace
• Collect and analyze data showing engagement, satisfaction, and performance within Talent Marketplace
• Generate reports and insights to inform decision-making and strategy development around Talent Marketplace
• Identify trends, patterns, and opportunities for improvement based on data analysis
• Partner closely with the Director of Talent Marketplace and other internal teams to ensure alignment with broader organizational goals and initiatives
• Provide input and feedback on product features, enhancements, and improvements based on feedback from Employers and Employees of Choice
• Demonstrate exceptional customer service standards while supporting Employers and Employees of Choice
• Collaborate with Director of Talent Marketplace to creatively arrive at and enact innovative marketing, sales, and recruitment tactics
• Proactively seek recruitment opportunities to showcase Talent Marketplace within our Lincoln community
• Promote Talent Marketplace to other agencies and businesses
• Support strategic leadership in response to affirming organizational goals
• Operate following all contracts, government regulations, and Center for People policies and procedures
• Exhibit high integrity and ability to set and maintain ethical professional boundaries
• Maintain a flexible work schedule to ensure organizational needs are being met, including occasional evenings and weekends to support Center for
People coordinated events
• Other duties as assigned

DESIRABLE TRAINING AND EXPERIENCE


Bachelor’s degree in Education, Social Work, Organizational Development, or related field preferred OR a minimum of 2 years of work experience in a sales, education, customer-facing role, or a related field. Multilingual is a plus.


MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS


● Graduation from a senior high school or equivalent
● Valid Nebraska driver’s license and current motor vehicle insurance
● Must be legally authorized to work inside the United States
