Personal Care Assistant (PCA)
Job Posting for Personal Care Assistant (PCA) at Center for Transitional Living LLC
Responsibilities:
- Provide personal care assistance to individuals in their homes or in nursing home settings.
- Assist with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.
- Administer medications as directed by healthcare professionals.
- Monitor and report changes in clients' health status to the appropriate healthcare providers.
- Assist with mobility and transfers, including using assistive devices and lifting techniques.
- Provide companionship and emotional support to clients.
- Help with meal preparation and feeding if necessary.
- Perform light housekeeping tasks to maintain a clean and safe environment.
Experience:
- Previous experience in caregiving or a related field is preferred.
- Familiarity with senior care or childcare is a plus.
- Knowledge of personal care systems and techniques.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting and physical tasks as required.
Skills:
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Compassionate and patient nature.
- Ability to follow instructions and work independently.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
Please note that this job may require working various shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays. The specific schedule will be discussed during the interview process.

Pay: $17.00 - $18.00 per hour
