Meadowbrook Healthcare is seeking a full time licensed Respiratory Therapy RN to join our team in the Rehabilitation Department. We provide quality patient-centered care to our Residents in our 220 bed Sub Acute and Skilled Nursing Facility located near the beautiful Lake Champlain and the Adirondack Mountains.

Duties:

·        Coordinate and perform daily skilled respiratory assessments, treatments and documentation.

·        Work collaboratively with Physical Therapy, Occupational Therapy and Speech Therapy to provide a comprehensive interdisciplinary plan of care for the patients.

·        Assess patients' conditions, vital signs, and progress.

·        Adjust equipment and supplies for respiratory care and treatment.

·        Educate patients on breathing exercises and how to use respiratory equipment.

·        Administer medications for various respiratory conditions.

·        Plan, implement, and assess treatment plans for patients with respiratory illnesses/compromised respiratory function.

 

Qualifications required:

·       Must have valid NYS RN license.

·       Knowledge of respiratory care protocols.

·       Respiratory Competency Training
