Pharmacy Technician

We are currently recruiting for the position of Lead Pharmacy Technician position 1501 Viscaya Parkway, Cape Coral, FL 33990 to fulfill the hours of 9:30 am to 6:00 pm. Center Pharmacy has a rich tradition and history of serving the local community to provide positive patient outcomes. Started in Cape Coral, in 1983, Center Pharmacy began as a retail and hospital pharmacy focused on providing excellent customer service. Education & Experience

• Current and in good standing Registered Pharmacy Technician from the Florida Board of Pharmacy.
• CPhT certification preferred, but not required
• High School Diploma/GED
• Two to three years of previous experience as a Pharmacy Technician working in retail setting preferred

• Exceptional pharmacy data entry processing skills required
• Ability to verify data input and correct errors.
• Reads and accurately interprets documents such as prescriptions, safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
• Conveys empathy and understanding when handling customer service issues.
• Adds, subtracts, multiplies, and divides in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
• Computes rates, ratios, and percentages.
• Applies common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $17.00 - $24.00 per hour
