Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $75,000.00 - $80,000.00 per year.
Essential Functions and Responsibilities:
· Develops, utilizes, and manages an appropriate number of qualified staff to provide competent, compassionate, efficient, and professional care and responsible for performing evaluations for nursing staff.
· Coordinates the activities of the unit for each site by shifting, directing, organizing, and assigning work to the nursing staff. Recommends and implements changes necessary for a positive work environment
· Ensures that nursing practice goals meet changes within the healthcare environment and provide training for nursing staff as necessary and part of compliance.
· Ensures appropriate staffing meeting the requirements of Title 22 and forecasts short and long-term goals relative to the Behavioral Health systems and operations to ensure consistency with Centered Health’s overall strategic plan.
· Will have set-up and oversight of Pactox, Phleetbo (if blood cannot be drawn) and LabCorp and will be responsible for light meds/first aid.
· Formalize Policies and Procedures across the county and set up nursing station with OTC and responsible for implementation and maintenance of nursing manual for SOP· Responsible for LAOC – SOAP notes with respect to reviewing and auditing.
· Responsible for compliance audits with respect to nursing in KIPU and will work closely with physicians to communicate plan of care.
· Reviews all nursing related invoices and verifies that services rendered are correct and send a copy to the accounting team ensuring that are no discrepancies in payments.
Requirements
· Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing
· Current CA RN License
· Current BLS
· Three (3) years in a management/leadership role with one (1) year of experience in Detox Center, Residential Treatment and Behavioral Health nursing.
