Utilities Locate Technician (Non-Gas)

Job description

Centerline Utility Services is currently accepting applications for Utility Locate Technicians. As a Utility Locate Technician you will respond to Dig Safe requests and mark underground utilities for damage prevention.

This is a driving job. You will be traveling from site to site marking underground utilities for our customers. Your day starts from home with all commute time paid.

Work is deadline based so work hours may fluctuate and overtime may be required to meet legal and customer requirements.

You will be provided a company vehicle, iPad and cell phone (if desired) to complete your daily work.

Job requires after hours on-call rotation (approx 1 week/month), available some nights, weekends, and holidays.

This is an entry level position and all training will be provided.

Knowledge, skills and abilities:

A utility locate technician must be detail oriented, organized, and able to work independently.

Have the ability to adapt to changes in a planned work day to accommodate any emergency ticket requests or other issues that arise.

Be physically able to lift up to 50 pounds.

Be able to safely work in all weather and road conditions.

Be able to sit, stand and walk for extended periods.

Requirements:

All positions require passing a Motor Vehicle Record Check, a Background Check and a Post offer Physical and Drug Screen. Per our insurance policies, you must be 21 years or older to apply for Utility Locate positions at Centerline.

Pay: $20.00 - $22.00 per hour
