Responsibilities
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
- Oversee benefits and compensation day-to-day operations
- Provide support to HR leaders, business partners, executives, managers and vendors as needed.
- Collaborate and partner with leadership to understand the challenges related to compensation and benefits reward programs and key issues in attracting, motivating and retaining high quality, diverse talent.
- Build compensation structure from the ground up, including unifying compensation programs across multiple acquisitions.
- Guide the transition to self-insured benefits.
- Validate the effectiveness of compensation and benefit programs, ensuring market competitiveness and business objectives are achieved.
- Manage compensation projects from design through delivery, including budgeting, financial modeling, project planning, developing systems and tools, communication and training.
- Work closely with finance partners to ensure effective decision-making, budget, and execution of all benefit and compensation plans.
- Conduct internal training and communication on current and changing compensation and benefit programs.
- Remain current on industry trends, best practices and compliance.
- Oversee the management of retirement benefits and long term incentive programs
- Participate in the selection and management of all vendors, brokers, and administrative partners.
- Lead additional projects as requested, including research, planning, implementation, cost/benefit analysis, compliance reporting and drafting policies.
- Manage a team of three benefit professionals
Qualifications
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Human Resources, Management, Finance or related field required. MBA is a plus.
- CEBS certification is a plus.
- 10 years of progressive experience in functional areas of Compensation and Benefits
- 7 years of leadership experience.
- Experience building and implementing a compensation system from scratch.
- Experience using compensation and benefits modules in ADP Workforce Now is a plus
- Experience working cross functionally with key stakeholders across a global organization, managing relationships and organizational change dynamics with discretion and tact.
- Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, and Word)

- Ability to evaluate, design and recommend compensation and benefit programs based on market assessment and business strategy.
- Excellent strategic, analytical and financial skills.
- A business-wide thinker, with a lens on how decisions made within one site or unit may affect others across the business.
- Driven self-starter with a strong attention to detail
- Ability to operate independently as well as in a team environment.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to comfortably handle difficult conversations
- Ability to establish strong partnerships with internal customers to ensure a high level of customer service and relationship building.
Supervisory Responsibility:
- This position will work with reports.

- Will consider remote, hybrid, and onsite status.

Position Type:
- This is a full-time exempt position. Days of work are Monday through Friday. Normal Business hours.

Expected compensation includes $150k to $190k annual salary and benefits including medical, vision, and dental benefits, and 401k retirement plan available for eligible employees. Compensation offered may vary depending on factors such as an individual’s education, training, experience, skills, geographic location, seniority, merit, and other factors that are job related and consistent with business need.
