Internal Auditor

TheInternal Audit Team is an independent function that is responsible for providing assurance and advice to management. We aim to be a trusted business partner that proactively focuses on the highest risks of the organization to find problems before they find us. As a member of the Internal Audit team, you will have the opportunity to help drive and add value to the business by participating in a variety of financial, compliance, operational, process, internal control validations and other business reviews and initiatives. The team's priorities are risk based and focus on strong governance, transparency, strategic engagement and fostering an inclusive culture that focuses on people development.

Underthe supervision and guidance of the Manager of Internal Audit, the Auditor will be responsible for the following:

• Collaboratewith key client stakeholders within a business function to evaluate risks and identify process improvement opportunities that are value added.
• Assist in planning and executing a variety of risk-based audit and advisory reviews.
• Document work performed to support results of the engagement including reviewing engagement team workpapers to ensure quality, accuracy, and completeness of work performed.
• Collaborate with key client stakeholders to promptly discuss and research resolutions for identified issues and observations.
• Draft audit deliverables, including audit scope and audit reports, in a clear, concise, and effective manner.
• Build and maintain key relationships with key stakeholders, establishing a culture of engagement while adding value.
• Accountable for meeting deadlines, adhering to department and professional standards.
• Contribute to a business climate and diverse culture that encourages integrity, respect, accountability, and initiative.
• Assist Audit Management in the preparation of the annual audit plan in a manner that promotes continuous improvement and business culture.
• Other duties/investigations/special projects based on needs of the business.

• Bachelor'sdegree required.
• Accounting, Finance or other business-related discipline is preferred.

• 1-3year experience in audit, accounting, finance, quality assurance, compliance and/or operational business related disciplines.
• Public accounting and/or utility industry experience is a plus.
• SAP, IDEA, Tableau and TeamMate experience is a plus.

• Strongverbal/written communication, critical thinking, problem solving, analytical and independent judgment skills
• Knowledge and understanding of risks and controls
• Ability to analyze data and draw appropriate conclusions
• Captures, organizes, and presents ideas, facts, data, etc., in a well-structured and concise manner
• Ability to show willingness to learn leveraging insights and data to support the internal audit plan through the identification of critical business areas and continually assessing risks and gap
• Ability to interact effectively with team and stakeholders
• Strong proficiency in MS applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) with a general understanding of data analysis techniques
