Bilingual Outreach and Enrollment Specialist
Centerpoint Health is a Federally Qualified Health Center. We provide services in primary health care, dental, ob-gyn and behavioral health and are seeking a full-time Bilingual (Spanish/English) Outreach and Enrollment Specialist to provide patient registration and support in our Franklin, Ohio clinic location, and some in Franklin. This employee will be assisting new patients learning about services available at Centerpoint Health and the community; as well as help direct them through enrollment and compliance with regulations while treating all patients with dignity and respect.
Position/Purpose:
Provide enrollment assistance including but not limited to coverage applications, gathering required documentation, and engaging in follow-up conversations for children and adults to improve their ability to access integrated health care.
Responsibilities:
· Assists patients and families in problem solving to improve their ability to access integrated health care.
· Educates, assists, and enrolls individuals and families into appropriate coverages, as well as other services available in the community.
· Assists with the scheduling of enrollment appointments for individuals interested in applying for health insurance, as needed.
· Ability to work as a team by helping overflow and eligibility assistance.
· Phone and Front Desk duties as needed.
· Provide referrals to appropriate departments and outside agencies for individuals in need of additional services.
· Accurately provides required reporting to trach weekly assists, eligibility determinations, and enrollments.
· Travel between Centerpoint Health locations to conduct enrollment assistance, as needed.
· Other duties as assigned.
Requirements:
· Bilingual (English/Spanish) required.
· High School diploma or equivalent.
· Prior knowledge of health insurance programs and public coverage options.
· Computer proficient; preferable experience with eCW.
· Two years’ experience in community health case engagement, preferred.
· Patient-centric with empathy, excellent active listening, and communication skills.
· Possess the ability to speak and write effectively using superior customer service.
· Possess the ability to interact respectfully with diverse cultural and socio-economic populations.
· Must be able to travel with the use of a personal vehicle.

Salary : $28,400 - $36,000
