The Operations Training Specialist works directly with leadership to develop, implement, and maintain best practices and systems for property management. Drives performance through training and development of team members, fosters collaboration, and maintains compliance to maximize operating and financial results. Additionally, this position will provide technical support and solutions of the Yardi system and assist with training as needed.
Responsibilities:
- Collaborates with Operations Training Manager, Talent & Culture, and supervisors to deliver effective training to new hires and existing team members. Facilitates, monitors, evaluates, updates, and maintains the compliance, efficiency, and effectiveness of operational policies and procedures
- Assist Operations Training Manager with training follow-up, attendance, and reporting
- Facilitates and provides training/adoption support in small group or one on one sessions with Team Members, both remote and onsite
- Works closely with all departments to achieve a seamless collaboration between operations, leasing, and marketing efforts
- Assists with Centerspace’s new property onboard process, ensuring that new community team members are transitioned to Centerspace seamlessly
- Assists with the preparation and distribution of internal communication and reporting relating to training initiatives and operational best practices.
- Provides technical support to end users through prioritizing and managing Support Center requests to ensure time sensitive issues are handled quickly and efficiently
- Facilitates recurring systems training and troubleshooting for all Yardi users
- Analyzes nature of ticket request to determine areas of training needs
- Assist in developing job specific training for all support departments and site positions
- Co-develops, facilitates, and maintains a growth/mentorship program for site team leaders
- Assists with the administration of the company’s learning management system (LMS) including course creation, enrollment, and reporting.
- Provide input to support the company’s education and training strategy by recommending, creating, and revising existing training and education programs, conducting needs assessments, and identifying training needs to support organizational initiatives.
- Collaborate with team members, leadership, and other support departments to review current curriculum and maintain department’s library of resources, job aids, and tools developed by the company’s subject matter experts
Qualifications:
- Education and/or Experience – bachelor’s degree or at least 4 years of experience in property management training, leasing, sales, or management. Yardi experience preferred.
Travel:
Travel will be required approximately 25% of the time.
