JOB DESCRIPTION:
Hybrid role requires residence in a commutable distance from Bradenton, Florida.
SUMMARY OF POSITION
Centerstone’s Campaign Coordinator will oversee daily operations of major and capital campaigns, with emphasis on project management, scheduling appointments and meetings (and logistics), campaign correspondence, packets/materials preparation, and maintaining the prospect tracking in the database.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
- Oversees daily operations and serves as the hub of major and capital campaigns with project management, coordinating campaign progression as determined by campaign team (includes external volunteer chairs, cabinet and key staff).
- Prepares and distributes campaign documentation, coordinates online project management, and manages campaign donor information, donation, correspondence and special event process in a timely manner.
- Strategic donor prospect research and appropriate profile preparation.
- Scheduling and implementation of campaign meetings (cabinet and donor prospect) and special events, including preparation of agendas, meeting minutes, and reports.
- Track recognition and naming opportunities and subsequent documentation.
- Provide executive level support and assistance as required.
- Supports various projects and coordinates project plans.
- Cross-train in and provide backup to Donor Services processes, as needed.
- Participates in other key projects and work, as assigned.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES
- High-energy level and good organizational/time management, with demonstrated ability to complete several multi-faceted projects accurately, comfortably and simultaneously with day-to-day activities.
- Articulate, with strong interpersonal, verbal and written communications skills. Ability to interface with staff, board, committees, volunteers, and prospective/current major donors, all in a respectful and professional manner.
- Ability to be pro-active, anticipating the executive’s needs, and have excellent follow through.
- Strong leadership skills that promote productivity, dedication, and creativity
- Accurate documentation skills. Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Outlook, Excel). Experience with CRM donor constituency management software, i.e. Salesforce, event management software, i.e. EventSpark, prospect research software, i.e. DonorSearch, and project management tools i.e. Monday.com.
- Ability to evaluate problems accurately and exercise appropriate judgment and discretion when dealing with donors, employees, board members, and volunteers; ability to work and solve problems both independently and in a team environment to move projects from inception to completion
- Enthusiastic, action-oriented approach with strong work ethic; fantastic customer service ethic with high expectations for quality; ability to work independently and in team
- Ability to travel periodically and manage meeting/event logistics in other locations, as needed.
QUALIFICATIONS
Education Level
- Bachelor’s degree or education/experience equivalency.
Years of Experience
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in nonprofit fundraising required.
- Project management and executive support experience preferred.
