SBA Closing Officer
Job Posting for SBA Closing Officer at Centerstone SBA Lending, Inc
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Performs pre-qualification assessment and analysis of financial risk and condition of applicants.
- Obtain all available and necessary financial data from the credit file or outside parties.
- Spread and analyze financial information of applicants - review and evaluate the information, underwrite credit memorandums and present financing request to senior management or Loan Committee for approval.
- Coordinates processing of approved loans; ensures loans are processed according to agreement, customer needs and conform to lending policies; obtains sufficient information and/or documentation from customers.
- Solves problems relative to processing and servicing of loans within his or her portfolio.
- Provides leadership, training & review work completed by less experienced underwriters and other staff members.
Requirements Education, Experience, and Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in finance, or a related field.
- Solid understanding of financial statements and tax returns
- Good communication skills, both oral and written
- Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw conclusion.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $55,000.00 - $65,000.00 per year
