Job Description:
Job Qualifications:
M.S. or equivalent in biostatistics, statistics, or a related scientific field. At least 2 years of professional experience in clinical research or other academic or social science setting. Demonstrated experience with statistical software (e.g., R, SAS, SPSS, NVIVO). Demonstrated expertise in qualitative, mixed methods, and quantitative research. Skills in advanced statistical analysis included but not limited to: Structural Equation Modeling, Multilevel Modeling, Time Series Analyses, Intent to Treat. Expertise must be demonstrated via first and co-authored publications using advanced methods and analyses. Work samples will be requested upon invitation to interview.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Collaborates with Centerstone Leaders and Academic Partners/Affiliate Investigators to design research and evaluation studies and protocols. Contributes advanced knowledge of scientific methods and statistics to assist with specification of hypotheses, study design, and the analysis plan. Writes sections of funding application(s) (e.g., PCORI, NIH, SAMHSA) in areas consistent with areas of expertise. In areas of funded research, and as applicable, assists with the implementation of studies and protocols. Leads qualitative and quantitative analyses, including advanced statistical analyses where applicable. Disseminates outcomes via scientific (e.g., conference presentations, publications) and non-scientific (e.g., media, print) mechanisms. Facilitates translation of research to practice (e.g., novel treatments for target populations, novel implementation methods). Communicates (e.g., training, didactics, supervision, presentations) research information routinely with Centerstone leadership, managers, and staff. Routinely leads training opportunities to disseminate knowledge of scientific methods and data analyses to others within the Research Institute. Upholds professional ethics and maintains compliance with federal regulations.
