(if applicable)The Occupational Health Licensed Practical Nurse renders care to patients in the clinic setting and assists with coordination of care under the direction of the Registered Nurse and provider. This position functions as a vital team member in providing patient/family centered care and supports Our Service Promise principles when interacting with patients, their families and with coworkers.
Sign on Bonus of $2,500! Full - time | 80 Hours Every Two Weeks | Monday - Friday | 7:00a.m. -4:30p.m. | No Weekends or Holidays!
EDUCATION:
Graduate of an accredited school of nursing required.
EXPERIENCE:
Possesses the ability to understand patients' medical records, physician orders and medication orders to be communicated to the patient and hospital staff.
LICENSES AND CERTIFICATIONS:
Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) Current licensure in the State of Minnesota
Basic Life Support (BLS) Current American Heart Association (AHA) BLS Healthcare Provider card per established policy.
Certified Professional Collector (CPC) obtained from the Drug & Alcohol Testing Industry Association (DATIA) 30 Days
Breath Alcohol Training Certification obtained through the CentraCare Lab department 30 Days
AED and CPR training per established policy
Successful completion of the National Institute for Occupational Safety and Health (NIOSH) Certification through the Centers for Disease Control (CDC) within 1 year
Successful completion of the Occupational Hearing Conservationist (OHC) certificate training program through the Council for Accreditation in Occupational Hearing Conservation (CAOHC) within 1 year
Phelobotomy skills preferred
ADDITIONAL QUALIFICATIONS:
Ability to work with computer systems
Well-developed written, interpersonal, and oral communication skills
Highly developed organizational, documentation, and time management skills
Knowledge of medical terminology
Ability to prioritize and multi-task
Must have knowledge of OSHA regulations/MN OSHA rules, Drug Screen regulations, and DOT exam regulations
Demonstrated medical procedural skills
A valid driver's license in good standing
