What are the responsibilities and job description for the CENTRAL STERILE TECHNICIAN, Monticello position at CentraCare Health?
As a Central Sterile Technician at CentraCare Monticello Hospital, you'll find your purpose by supporting our surgical team that help our patients heal. In this position you will work 64 hours per two week pay period, variable days from 10:00am-6:30pm- preferred (open to discuss availability during the interview). NO WEEKENDS/NO HOLIDAYS!
JOB SUMMARY:
Primarily responsible for sterile processing the overall cleaning, decontamination, assembly and dispensing of surgical
instruments, endoscopes and equipment and supplies needed for daily surgical and endoscope procedures in surgery.
EXPERIENCE:
- Sterile Instruments/Equipment Experience
LICENSES AND CERTIFICATIONS:
- Certified Registered Central Service Technician (CRCST)
ADDITIONAL QUALIFICATIONS:
- Basic computer knowledge.
- Knowledge of medical terminology.
- Ability to work in a team environment and/or work independently as needed.
- Ability to read and communicate effectively in English.
- Strong written and verbal skills.
- Strong interpersonal human relations skills.
