CentraCare has been serving the communities of Central Minnesota for over a century and is now one of the largest health systems in Minnesota! Our Emergency Medical Services (EMS) team provides multiple levels of care and transportation including Basic Life Support and Advanced Life Support while responding to more than 12,000 calls each year.
We are looking to add to our staff of 150 trained EMS professionals in the following areas: Benson, Paynesville, Long Prairie, Willmar, and Redwood Falls
Duties:
- Provide advanced pre-hospital emergency patient care and transport to patients of all ages (neonates, infants, children, adolescent, adult, geriatric, frail geriatric)
- Provide non-emergent and emergent services (basic life support, advanced life support/critical care, patient care and transport) to patients in the surrounding communities
EMT Qualifications:
- Completion of an accredited EMT-Basic / Advanced EMT (AEMT) course required, verified through certification with the EMSRB or NREMT including prerequisite NIMMS 100, 200, 700 certifications.
- Valid current NREMT with Minnesota EMSRB Certification or Valid Minnesota EMSRB Certification with NREMT to be obtained by 2032.
- Current BLS
- Valid driver’s license in good standing is required
