What are the responsibilities and job description for the Unit Support position at CentraCare?
32-48 hours per 2-week pay period. Week day evening shifts, 4:00 p.m. to 8:30 p.m., every other Saturday & Sunday day shift: 7:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., rotating holidays
JOB SUMMARY:
As part of the care team, performs tasks that are necessary to unit activities in achieving the hospital mission of competent, Christian, holistic patient care. Supports patient care needs by performing delegated patient care and non-patient care. Supports and implements patient safety and other safety practices as appropriate. Supports and demonstrates Family Centered Care principles when interacting with patients and their families and with co-workers.
EDUCATION:
- High School Diploma or GED
- Orientation will be given to obtain desired entry-level competence in lieu of experience.
- Basic computer skills and prior experience in a similar role preferred.
- High School Diploma or GED or equivalent preferred.
