Position Role/Tile: AWS Cloud Architect 
Location: Chicago (Currently Remote)


 

- At least two years of hands-on experience securing AWS workloads around designing and implementing security 

solutions with Security controls for on AWS

- At least two years of hands-on experience related AWS data protection mechanisms

- At least two years of hands-on experience data encryption methods and AWS mechanisms to implement them

- At least two years of hands-on experience of secure Internet protocols and AWS mechanisms to implement them

-  At least two years of hands-on experience and knowledge of AWS security services and features of services to provide a secure environment

- Ability to make tradeoff decisions with regard to cost, security, and deployment complexity given a set of application requirements

- Ability to provide guidance on security operations and risk

- At least two years of hands-on experience IAM best practices, ACL/Network firewall strategy, Multi VPC security, KMS, AWS Secret Manager, Certificate Manager, etc

- Work very closely with implementation team and guide them on how to utilize and integrate AWS services.

- Conduct PoT to prove-out AWS services meet BCBSA security controls (not on paper).

- Interact with BCBSA SME (Dev, SA & Architect)
