ORGANIZATIONAL/PROGRAM BACKGROUND
Central City Neighborhood Partners (CCNP) was established in 1994 and incorporated as a formal non-profit
collaborative in 2000 to address the socio-economic conditions impacting low-income families living in the Central
City, Westlake and Pico-Union communities. With the mission of catalyzing partnerships to systemically address
the multiple challenges facing low-income families, CCNP works with its partners to help families create pathways
to financial security and economic opportunity through our FamilySource Center (FSC) program, financial asset
building programs and other signature programs.
Position Overview
The Supervising case manager is responsible for coordinating and supervising case management services for the
FSC Program as well as working with leadership to develop strategies to sustain and expand the FSC program
through fund development and grant writing.
Supervising Case Manager will perform a broad range of duties spanning the full employment cycle, including, but
not limited to providing expert counsel, support and/or monitoring of the following:
1. Train, supervise and coach case managers, interns and volunteers in best practice strategies to carry out
FSC program goals and objectives;
2. Train FSC staff on confidentiality, child abuse reporting, and any other relevant legal and ethical client
related matters;
3. Ensure case management services operate in accordance to organization standards as well as funding and
regulatory requirements;
4. Conduct weekly case conferencing and bi-weekly case management meetings to discuss client cases,
program goals, and policies and procedures;
5. Provide direct intervention as needed including consultative support, crisis intervention, participation in or
facilitation of meetings with families, and conflict mediation;
6. Conduct monthly audits of client files, service plans and case notes;
7. Supervise the documentation of client services and activities in the City’s web-based system (Bit Focus) and
Google documents;
8. Conduct and/or coordinate in-service trainings that will improve the quality of services provided to clients
and support the case managers’ ability to deliver services;
9. Establish and maintain connections and collaborate with outside agencies to ensure coordinated delivery of
services;

11. Complete monthly performance reports and work with staff to capture and communicate data about CCNP’s
work and strengthen our ability to tell CCNP’s story;
1. Additional tasks, projects and responsibilities as assigned by supervisor and executive leadership.
QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS
1. Minimum 3 years of management experience, supervising case managers;
2. Experience supervising or coordinating interns or other staff a plus;
3. Proven leadership and team-building abilities;
4. Excellent and effective public speaking and presentation skills, including the ability to facilitate and lead
trainings;
5. Professional experience working with vulnerable families in crisis situations;
6. Knowledge and experience with educational and asset building programs and available resources;
7. Excellent organizational and administrative skills, including ability to maximize effectiveness of case
management team;
8. Culturally competent in working with the public and individuals with various cultural and economic
backgrounds and abilities;
9. Ability to maintain appropriate, professional boundaries and confidentiality;
10. Friendly, dependable and flexible team player with the ability to use tact and diplomacy in communication
and adapt to changes in a busy work environment;
11. Strong written communication skills; ability to write and edit clear, structured, articulate and persuasive
proposals;
12. Excellent work ethic and ability to work under pressure, address multiple priorities and meet deadlines;
13. The ability to read, write and speak in English and Korean is required, given that many of the targeted
families are monolingual in Korean. Cultural sensitivity is required.
14. Operational knowledge of the Internet and web-related technologies; Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, and
PowerPoint); Windows Operating System.
15. Ability to manage databases and reporting systems in order to produce a variety of written reports
EDUCATION AND CERTIFICATION REQUIREMENTS
● Master’s degree in Social Work required.
Other Requirements
● Successfully pass all post offer, pre-employment screening requirements, including criminal background
check, and provide proof of eligibility to work in the United States.

● Must have a valid California Driver’s License, liability insurance and access to an automobile in good working
conditions;
● Must be available to work until 8 p.m. at least once per week; weekends and evenings as needed

second dose in a two-dose COVID-19 vaccine series (e.g. Pfizer or Moderna) or a single-dose COVID-19 vaccine
