Program Overview
Central Connection (formerly known as Mental Health Access Point) is seeking a full time Probate Services Director for our program at 311 Albert Sabin Way, Cincinnati, OH 45229.
Duties:
- Provide oversight and program implementation of the Hamilton County Outpatient Community Probate Program
- Guide and grow the Probate Services department at Central Clinic Behavioral Health's Central Connection Division (including, screening of individuals to determine what resource is appropriate and make recommendations to the Probate Court in accordance with ORC 5122.0
- Prescreen hospital affidavits, interview affiants, locate appropriate hospital placements, submit documents to the Probate Court for "walk-in" affidavits
- Communicate proficiently with the Hamilton County Mental Health and Recovery Services Board (HCMHRSB), local attorneys, Probate court staff, hospitals, agency liaisons, judges and law enforcement officials to ensure the court has all needed documentation for upcoming hearings
Minimum Qualifications:
- Master's degree in social work or counseling with an Ohio Independent License
- Relevant experience in private, community, or state facility working with people experiencing distress from mental illness,
- Demonstrated ability to complete psychiatric assessments and basic biomedical asessments
- Demonstrated ability to collaborate with attorneys, judges, doctors, and law enforcement officials
- Demonstrated exemplary verbal and written communicaion skills and organizational skills
Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Nursing with an Ohio RN License
- Experience in the legal field
