We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Physical Therapist specializing in pediatrics to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in working with children of all ages, from infants to adolescents, with a variety of physical impairments and conditions.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough evaluations of pediatric patients to assess their physical abilities and limitations
- Develop individualized treatment plans to address each child's specific needs and goals
- Provide hands-on therapy to improve motor skills, strength, coordination, and balance
- Teach parents and caregivers techniques for assisting their child with exercises and activities at home
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, such as occupational therapists, speech therapists, and physicians, to ensure comprehensive care for each child
- Monitor and track progress, adjusting treatment plans as necessary to achieve optimal outcomes
- Stay current with the latest research and treatments in pediatric physical therapy
Requirements:
- Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program
- Current FL state license to practice as a Physical Therapist
- Current FL Medicaid number in the state of Florida or eligible to apply
- Certification in Pediatric Physical Therapy preferred
- Experience working with children with a variety of physical disabilities and conditions
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively as part of a multi-disciplinary team
